Although MJX and RPTPC optical fiber rotary joints can be used in water, their pressure compensation is only 1000psi, while RPC series can provide up to 20000psi pressure compensation, with stainless steel armoured optical cable and corresponding optical fiber connectors, such as FC, ST, etc.

RPC has the characteristics of low insertion loss and high return loss. It can work in extreme temperature environment. (See left insertion loss, return loss and temperature test curve)

The insertion loss and return loss of all optical fiber rotary joints are accomplished by optical fiber fusion. That is to say, the additional value of optical fiber connector is not included in the test data.
