The particularity of MJP type optical fiber slip ring is that it has very high return loss (> 55 or > 60 dB), and its starting moment is very small, so it can rotate at high speed. It is especially suitable for optical coherence tomography (OCT).

The second picture on the left shows MJP driven by gears with SC/APC sockets. We can also provide belt pulley drive mode. Both methods are suitable for OCT system.

The insertion loss and return loss of all optical fiber rotary joints are accomplished by optical fiber fusion. That is to say, the additional value of optical fiber connector is not included in the test data.
